Job Description

The MES Integration Engineer is responsible for and involved in all technical aspects of MES implementation by integrating off the shelf MES systems and custom developing applications when required. In this role, the person will be closely working with other MES integration team members, with SAP and Corporate IT support teams, and with Process Automation groups.
Work with the IT infrastructure group to implement the necessary MES environment.
Set up MES development, test, and production platforms.
Be involved in the identification, analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation of interfaces.
Develop, execute and document integration test plan and test scripts.
Set up MES data warehouse and integration with MES Factory Model.
Assist during field installation and startup of MES systems.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Strong understanding of the manufacturing environment.
3+ years of experience implementing Hydra or other MES solutions.
Understand the IT infrastructure required to support MES solutions.
Knowledge of database design including the ability to write PL/SQL queries and procedures for data verification/troubleshooting.
3+ years of experience of coding object-oriented programs like Python, VB, C#, Java, C++
Experience working with MES connectivity to SCADA and PLC control systems.
Working knowledge of SCADA systems, including Rockwell RSView SE, Wonderware InTouch, and Ignition is a plus.
Experience with integration of MES and ERP systems such as Oracle EBS is a plus.
Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and coordinate activities.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication and troubleshooting skills.
