Data Modeler

Minimum Requirements:
·        Bachelor’s degree or 8 years experience in an analytical or technical support function
·        4+ years experience in an analytical or technical support function or general data analysis/extraction experience
·        Experience working in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
·        Advanced SQL skills
·        Intermediate knowledge of SAP Business Objects Webi 
·        Intermediate knowledge of Tableau
·        Intermediate experience reviewing and validating data models
·        Knowledge of fundamental information management concepts/terms – ETL, data validation, metadata management, relational databases, database design, etc.
·        Experience in data profiling and data validation techniques/processes
·         Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills; capable of working independently and troubleshooting data issues with minimal oversight
·        Working knowledge of agile methodology and what it means to work within an agile framework
·        Clear and concise communicator
·        Possesses the willingness and ability to learn new technical and business concepts
 
Preferred Requirements:
·        Previous experience working in banking/financial services, specifically Real Estate
·        Experience working as part of an agile team, including participation in agile ceremonies, story grooming, task creation, etc.
·        Experience in identifying, documenting and analyzing business and/or data requirements
·        Experience in Tableau Server or Business Objects administration (access controls, usage audits, universe design, etc.)
·        Experience working in Hadoop
