Writes a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures and/or manuals for documentation. May be responsible for coordinating the display of graphics & the production of the document.
Client is looking for a candidate with extended technical writing experience, excellent PC skills including word processing, spreadsheet, and database packages & strong project management skills to lead multiple, complex projects.
5+ years' experience in a Technical Writer role– (An English major is acceptable as a candidate who may also be a recent college graduate)
• Advanced computer skills, especially with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal communication
• A qualified Technical Writer must possess impeccable writing, spelling and grammar skills. Additionally, a senior Technical Writer must know how to manage
• several projects simultaneously.
• Past information technology or insurance processing experience a real plus
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism or Technical Communications.
• Good organizational skills
