Should have worked in Cassandra administrator role for at least 2 years.
Should have knowledge of Cassandra Architecture and should have worked on
Cassandra and should have knowledge on CQL.
Should be able to create, decommission, migrate, expand, shrink clusters
Should be able to do kernel and version upgrades
Should be able to take care of all the nodes in a cluster, repairing nodes, adding and
removing node from Cassandra Ring etc.
Should be able to perform health check-ups at regular basis on the clusters on regular
basis.
Should be able to do performance tuning and benchmarking of clusters
Should be proficient in shell, Python or Perl scripting
hould be knowledge on best practices for managing very large Cassandra clusters
