Business Analyst

About the Position
Key responsibilities will include providing high quality application support to the Global Investments business to support the development and maintenance of our critical systems used by our clients and consultants around the world. This includes:
• Investigating, triage, diagnosing and resolving complex application issues, working with business partners, other IT departments and suppliers as appropriate
• Providing users with best practice communications, guidance, and other appropriate support until issues are resolved
• Carry out application management, including monitoring and maintenance (installation, configuration, administration) of applications and services
• Analysis of data using SQL to ensure data integrity, accuracy and completeness
• Processing routine data updates

Requirements:
• A background in Investment management or investment consulting will be well regarded but is not essential. However, an awareness of and interest in investment management/consulting is essential
• Degree in finance, mathematics or computer science preferred. A tertiary qualification in Investments/Finance or IT, actuarial or other post graduate qualifications like CFA will be well regarded
• Strong communication skills
• Strong technical skills with Excel, VBA and SQL
• Excellent organizational skills (e.g. ability to juggle and follow up on multiple tasks simultaneously)
• Basic programming or QA experience will be a plus
